It's 6months liao...... so the fast ler...

Work wise, it's been hectic.... I dunno lar... since January.. it's like papers keep piling,emails requiring attention, some office literature to be sorted.. Yau mou kau chor...

But... shud be thankful for a job *err... achelli..shud be thankful for the $$$ that reaches your bank account at the end of the month hoh...*

Social life wise.. uhmmm.... okayyyyyyyy lar... Not that fancyful. STILL not met that German hunk that i've dreamt off. Poohhhh... haihsssss... kinda given up lah... WAKE UP.. hahaha! dreams are meant as they are... lolx.
Been hanging out a lot wif me gym mates.. Ya ler... just after the workout.. haf to haf input right? But nothing new lar. Alwiz balik balik oso the same lame places nia. so not adventurous lar these peoples.
Keeping in touch wif my skoolmates. wah liao... it's a handful trying to keep in touch wif them, their other halfs,kids....eeks....

Yesterday was just a realli realli badddd day... I seemed to almost want to explode and had this heavy depression mode set over me.

Am so glad to hear from two frens. One was a pal I got to know while working together for a conference last year. Was good to hear her chirpy voice and she went bla bla bla bla bla.. lol... I was going.. Uh huhh... uh huhh... ohhhh yah... uh hmmm.. Yah... *aiyoh I wasn't ignoring her ler... I was listening intently, whilst trying me best to focus getting some docs done.

Then it was lunch time. As usual, my lunch times these days are so super duper late. Gone are the days when I can go off to lunch at 12.30, and food will still be aplenty...Today, for some strange reasons, EVERYBODY came to my office area and whacked the chap farn. Buggers! By 1.20 it was gone... So got no choice ler... chiken lice...tapaued it. On the way on LDP smack on a Tuesday lunch time.... Traffic jam... #$#$^&*&.... urghhhhhh!!!!!!ymkc arrrrr

To cap the day... been having this craving for soup tung fun (glass noodles), but unfortunately I was like 25km away from my fave shop in Uptown area, so I decided to pop into this chinese shop and ordered the tung fun soup. ok lar... veri the normal nia, but satisfied my craving of tung fun.
Went home, there was soup wif mushrooms... Ahhhhh.. nyums... I dunno if I'm into soups.... or tung fun... Had some n then the shower n here I am.

Was a great afternoon celebrating Jonas n Jerry's birthday.

Arrived around 12.30 at the venue, Zen Japanese restaurant. the family went the last time somewhere two years back and liked the Japanese buffet... Was thinking this time...got a selection of food which was served buffet style *salivating*

Aiyaaaaaaa... not wor.. haha! Got like menu style. Not baddddddddd....

After that, moreguests came in. Wahhhh!!! most of them were punctual leh...Mingled around wif some of the guests-mostly family members. By 1.30pm we started sitting and then placed our orders. Wah.. got starters one... Salmon sashimi, *nyummmms* and edamame beans... er... ok ok la....
Then u can either order fish - soba/salmon n chicken teriyaki - served wif miso soup and chawamushi.after that, served wif greentea/sesame ice cream n fruits. haha! funny lar... 1st birthday party wif a difference ler...

Ard 2.30, started the birthday song. Waaaa... was a nice carrot cake decorated wif Sesame Street theme.

most of the time was like snapping pics and playing wif Ivan, chatting wif some peoples, parking my butt at my seat to rest.

Left the place around 3.45, hmmmmm... gloomy weather lah...

Came back, decided to skip my Combat class...break time... went for a lazy late evening nap ard 4.30... heh! once in a while laa....

Back to the gym tomorrow....

Wasn't a very good day at work. Kena-ed from da boss and so felt like quitting lah....

Survived through the day.

Mom called to ask if I was joining cuzzie and her family as they fly back to London... I thought... Hey why not.. not often we get to see them...

Wasn't disappointed. Had dinner at this place call Old Siam on Tengkat Tung Shin. those old old colonial house now converted to restaurants who want to give it a rustic feel!!!!

I was hungry by the time I got there, just ate watever that left the first round.... Yay yay (bandaraya ma...) and then we had summore pandan fried chicken and some other snacks. The food wasn't super duper extraordinary... (waddya expect... U're smack in the middle of KL town, and the price is like sky high....)
One plate of kangkung cost RM 9.90... with that amount, can feed one whole kampung lah... sighhh....but ok lar.. the cook didn't ruin it.

After dinner went up that road onto Jalan Alor. round the bend... SMACK! dried meat EVERYwhere... Long yuk/bak kua..... yup... There were like so many stalls..... after buying her last round of sweets n wat nots for her frens back home, we began to walk back to their hotel. Wah lauuuuuuuuuuu spotted a durian stall.... *wag wag wag...*

Turns out cuzzie oso a durian fan. So... Yayyyyy we had two bijik of the king of fruits *gosh I hope my future partner loves that.. lolx* and then went back to the hotel lah.... Chit chatted for a bit, then haf to come home dy, haf to work the nex day no ???

This year... Dunno why I so the love to eat the zhang (glutinous rice dumplings)
Suddenly got craving for it wor. since Mom wasn't gonna be doing the nyonya ones, I asked a pal's mom if she could get some nyonya zhang for me.... Turns out we were super duper late for it....(haf to put reminder... Nex year must place oder...)... only got 2. Thankfully i had one the same night I collected it... The other was walloped by my sis. There goes my ration.....

So I got no choice but to get from pasar malam ler..... Somehow sis kinda had a hunch... Either that or she tasted some somewhere n decided to get some home.... Ok ok lar.... I dun care dy whether it's bak (porker pork) zhang or nyonya zhang... whack oni......

No home made ones for me this year... bleaghhhhhhhhh

Nemind... can't wait to pester mom to make some of the inti (fillings) for the nyonya zhang... then we can substitute it,eat it w rice or bread n cucumber.. Nyumsssssssssssss *salivate*

I've not watched a single World Cup match in its entirety.

WHY ? Cosssss..... dunno... no interest in bola dy lar. If 4years ago u ask me, mebbe I'll watch.
This year, which teams are in oso I dun realli know.....

the past one week was not so bad... As in, didn't know the HEAT until yesterday during lunch... My boss and colleagues were talking ball... nearly yawned in front of them. Sorri ler.... hahaahha!

Then at night, I was gonna meet some pals for mamak, and wah liao... had to go two rounds to look for parking.... yau mou kau chor arrrrrrrrrr........ THEN...It suddenly dawned upon me that it's the World Cup... Guys haf to come out in droves to watch together. sienz... Why can't they just organise football party in their homes and sit in the comfort of their hall n watch arrrh??

My dad loves watching oso... So last night I watched my first 25mins of the World cup match... Holland vs Ivory Coast.... Saw them playing the National songs of both thems, so a glimpse of van Nistelrooy (hey hey!!! he looks lean n .... mmmmm nyummmm bod... lolx), Drogba... errrrr dunno who else dy lar... I'm impressed dad could rattle on and on some of the other names which were alien to me...
Then after they started the kick off.. about 15mins, I pegi tidorz dy, bek n leg cudn't take it...

Came out to the seating area, the instructor was soooooooo schweet, brought me the deep heat stuff. ok lar put some... THen was warned not to touch water just in case it will swell up. Ok lar.. I dowan swelling, so didn't lor, went to Bumbu Bali cos my cuzzies were there, ate, and then came back and rested lah.Realised that my back was painful oso...when I fell fwd. Basket... ughhh so lied down lor.

Woke up everytime I had to change position. bedebah tul.....

Got up this morning, kennot go work lar. Sis and cuzzie was like... teasing me ler, cos earlier the week mom sprained her leg, so I teman her. Yah right... VERI FUNNY!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA Blehhhhh

just got too many things to do at work lah. if I can help it...see lah... later wanna go to office lah....

Bumped into a pals' mom... then I said I'll pop by their home to meet d fren.
Before that, popped by to pass some zhang for my godma. then to that frens' place.

Got home, checked on mom for her leg. Poor soul... dunno wat she did lar.. her left leg pain wor... kennot realli walk much. Then went to clean my pigsty lar.... Seriously had to do that cos the nex morning another cuzzie's putting up a night, wif her whole ching bang!

Herrowwwwwwwwww frenzzz!!! Got home late ebening... Nice trip this weekend to Ipoh, though Friday after work was stuck in tis super jam after the LDP Kepong toll ... #$&%*($*# 40mins -used the Sg Buloh NKVE toll.
Reached Ipoh like... 9pm *layu*
cuzzie's place was nice... veri veri homely *even seasoned wif their 'smell' dy..... *coff coff... lolx
Ate loads n loads of taugeh hehe! and of course wat Ipoh is famous for ler...
Also ordered something which I was never fond of... The Ipoh white coffee... Hmmm.. had two glasses of that for the breakfast... Unusual. .Lucki thing never kena caffeine overdose... seems that drink is potent wan wor... Cuzzie had that and the whole day she was feeling woozy. Poor fin...
Spent sometime wif 2nd cousins. it's funny how when u grow up the gap is not so obvious lor...chatted a bit more lar.
Next week an important week - gotta spend time wif a pal who's gonna go for an op.. not a big one lar....can't wait to check on her after that. nex wk oso cuzzies going bek to London liao...eating spree will be over by this week....so must fully utilize the times... Gotta also catch up on me gym classes... and also wif some frens... hmmmmmmm

Got meself my fave nasi lemak as breakfast to jumpstart the day. Lovely!!!! hafn't had that treat in a long bit.

It's near KDU one.... So you are on the LDP (coming from Motorola...kelana seafood centre, pass by St Ignatius church bla bla bla... Turn into your left at the KDU college there...) then 130m later turn right. You will see a Petronas kiosk on your left. go up the slope about 100m, you will see the makcik and her assistant on your right liao.....
Nyumssssssss la the nasi lemak.. veri popular one leh... Dun play play...

Anyways... Was there this morning lah...Turning in the KDU junction... there got one traffic polis wor. I was like... errrrrrrrr A bit the wrong place right? stand there for wat??? so i looked ard n see lar... nothing oso... Ok turned left....
Then at the junction to turn up the slope, further up the road can see like.... more trafic polis and a lot of ppls parked on the main road leh... YMKC arrrrrrrr

It's surprising...That I've gotten up at this hour of the day to post this up.

I thought I'd write one post in honour of my8cents, but this morning I woke up dreaming about a pal whom I've met at the ICAAP, and then coming online, was reading this.... Something that's been I've always been interested in.... Hmmmmm.......

Well, this past one year in my8cents haf been.... ok lar... Not that I've achieved much in the sense. I started this blog cos I wanted to pen down my thoughts, and do some social commentary thingy, but it kinda drifted and ended up being some sort like my journal, boring you wif my day to day work-gym-eat routine. Poor souls... hahahahahah

Anyways, This past one year for myself, is different lor... I get to spend a huge chunk of my time in the gym, getting to know some friends better, laughing,crying with them. I miss those old carefree days when we were all so the free n easy. We can even run in our nekkid diapers/panties if we want... Nowadays all we can manage is a phone call or sms. If we're lucky and don't reschedule our appointments....we wud eventually get to meet.

Hope the next coming year I get to spend more time catching up wif frens... i so miss that, and do some of the things that I've always missed doing...

The week's been ....

Wah sai... Haf been realli realli busy... Tonite is the first night I get home early n not crash in bed....

Monday finished work like ..7.45....gila la...was so darn tired but went to the gym anyways (didn't do a full workout lar. the shirt was barely drenched), and then after that visited pal's mom got her a slice of cake for her birthday.came home, crashed before midnight... The first time in ages. Must be dead tired lah.

Tuesday worked til like... 7pm,....farking late lar.... Had to rush for the 7.30pm class... Reached late :((( ard 7.45... grrrrrrrrrrr.... Didn't realli managed to do the 100%....too drained.Wanted so much to be shipped to the Carribbean............
After the class went to haf dinner wif some gym pals, and then a nice catch up wif ex-roomie at my fave hangout place where I get my ice choc done by my cutie pie....Aahhh... lovelay!!!

Last night finished work like.... 6.45.Earlier...GOOD! but is the so no mood to go anywhere, popped by to collect my Nyonya zhang though....was nice by pal's mom to get it for me...Been craving for it. Nyumssss *drool* Then lepaked there a while,went to tapau some fishball n stuff... Please check it out here. quite good review by KY.Home, had dinner, slept by 9.45.... super earli hoh.... Siao-ness!! but got drawbacks lar, woke up ard 2something, couldn't sleep back again. grouchy the morning I woke up. Poor sis had to contend wif the lime gween monster... lolx.

Wahhhhhhhh reached office oni.. haf to sort out some ... #$%^*^&$%^ mess lah. that one was like ... almost 2hours to sort out. Bodo lah. Lunch time so no mood dy.....Came back more stuff to sort out.... bleagh.
So glad to leave after work, popped by pal's place again to pass her some stuff and then headed to the gym for a 20minCombat. Liddat oni.....
