it's been a Long Hiatus...

Hello Friends....

YUP YUP!!! Ahm still alive, thanks very much... It's d 1st of November....

I ALMOST forgotten my password to this account... Guess don't really need this blog anymore, but tak sampai hati wanna delete everything that's in here...A lot of fond memories... Some good, some not so good... Family sagas... Good/bad experiences on friendships, work, gym.

So... those of you who are not updated on my life, I've been quite busy at work. Working in this event co seems to be hectic and not so easy as it sounds, though it may be freaky being in da office alone...But it's ok lah... I can entertain myself one mah...lolx...

Cruised through October birthdays ...though there were some belated wishes ;p

Looking forward to December.... it's d holiday/feasting month...Oops... of cos haf to exercise larh... i nid to wear those pretty girly stuffs for some weddings...May in partikular...drat~!

End of July....and end of a life...

It's the end of the month of July...

Woke up being blurrish... Still slight fever and all, Mom and Dad came in to check... All offa sudden mom speaks a foreign language (Hakka) and I knew it was a conversation wif aunt. but didn't know wat...

2nd Ku has fainted and complained difficulty in breathing...

Was rushed to HUKM.

In between could hear mom calling all her other siblings while I was online to check out directions to get to HUKM. An hour later cousin called to say uncle has passed on....

Mom lost control ... and wailed...

Mom and Dad went ahead to the hospital... I stayed back cos hafnt fully recovered from the nasty flu bug.

Heya dear friends.... A bit of update

Work - GREAT!!!! Loads of work. First week was packed with 11hours on the job..Back wanted to break and even thought of quitting, but m beginning to get the hang of things and Love it there... colleagues are ok. Bosses are Great to work wif (most important). Talked to matey and ex colleague and they said I seemed to be content & happier, even if the hours are long ;) Pray it'll stay that way

Home - mom's not been feeling well of late. Went for some tests last week...Tomolo she'll be in IJN again. Most likely will be doing angioplasty.
Rest of the family ok.

Gym - terminated d membership. Will be the last month. After being attached to it for so long, of course sum thung lar... but hell yah... July gotta fill it up wif other sporting activities ady... heh! Will most likely be mom's slave driver after she gets out of hosp.

Midst of work commitment, managed to fill time to attend weddings and meals wif family and of course gym...For now til end of the month it'll be work, hosp visits & gym. After July .... hope work routine be a bit more stable.

2nd Quarter - 2009

We're Now into the 2nd Quarter of 2009.

Frankly speaking... The quarter didnt' whoosh pass like last year (and the prev year), so a bit thankful for that.

Updates: hafnt' been achieving the results desired in terms of losing weight, but I reckon getting there, wif my addition of RPM onto my list. so far... survived a coupla sessions but I still love Combat, especially the latest release.

the weekend we were over for baby Dylan's 1st bday celebration and he's growing to be as adorable as his two brothers...

Planning to try more outdoorsy activities (and to drag sis out too)...We're FINALLY (crosses fingers & toes) going to go to FRIM this weekend....PLEAS PLEASE Don't rain.....

Other private updates on personal & home - I'll email up shortly.... Don't want nosey parkers reading these bits...

Month of March

Hello there Family & Friends,

It's de month of March... seems like this blog is headed for doomsville soon ...

Anyways, hafnt been very disciplined with the gym bit. I went to try out some baju the other day and cudnt fit in some of the baju (where previously ngammmmm ngammmmmmm fit...)
Dang!

On a happier note - my dearest cuzzie threw us all a surprise by flying in here last week, together with her lil' daughter...So yes... Wen is officially in town Again. Mum had the biggest surprise of all when we decided to video it and she was caught off guard. We all had a laugh. This time round got to haf a bit of time with them. Us cousins even made a trip back to food haven together o'er d weekend and we had a great time. Baby seems to be easily adaptable and I've been labelled 'nanny'...

Got home yday.. was out stone cold ard 6 til this morning 8-ish... gosh!!!!
Remainder of the week - try to continue the hunt, and STAY bloody focused with losing some weight...

Two babes born yday.. Cuzzie wif her little princess, and piggy's new nephew.... Bulls!!!

Long n Gone

CNY is long and gone....


Am still reeling in the aftermath of Birthday, Christmas, New Year and CNY.... hehe!


I put on a considerable amount of weight (shameful!), despite (still) going to the gym last year, though I wasn't as committed as prev year.


Next coupla days, committed myself to stick to my schedule of going...

Gotta be disciplined if i wanna shed it. FI's haf already been notified and they'll keep a close watch, I betcha...

Layer Cake craving!!

On Thursday after work I was craving for Indonesian layer cake. Thanks to bro's friend who brought some over to our place on CNY Day 2....

Circling ard Taipan area and stopped at Berry's. Their layer cake is one of the nicest i've tasted... Walked in, NO layer cake found... :((

me: no layer cake in Berry's :(( shud i get a 0.5kg fruit flan instead? *drool...*

me: OK. No fruit flan. Pfftt....

Walked Across the street was King's.... HOpeless... Tarak :(( but the girl was nice though, offered their pandan layer cake... errr...No thanks sweetie...thats not what I'm after...

Patisfrance was closed, so no hope of getting anything else...

Went to Bee's...errr... I dun usually buy their layer cake but a craving is a craving...Walked in... searched high n low for the layer cake, the only thing i see is 7slices on a plate. Wha ???? Asked the staff where's the whole block? SOLD Out....hmph! Bought 3slices @ RM1 each... Needed to complain...Sms to pal again...

me: Bee's saved d day. But hor... Only slices. Bought 3. WHY Everyone also got same craving as me one??

me: *muffled laughter.... Not yet... Baker's Cottage saved d day....

Higher up across the street was Baker's Cottage.... Wah! got 2-3type of varieties summore wor..
Got the original one at RM 15....

Got home and walloped one slice of the Bee's one first... mmmm not bad... nyum nyum....

Fast Forward 3weeks from the last post, we're smack in d 1st day of Chinese New Year.

Day's been a bit boring for me...Well, whole day couped at home.



Saturday evening we had reunion dinner with uncles, aunts and cousins. hmmmm it was a sit down dinner at a restaurant. We had 2tables, it was fun having us cousins chit chatting&joking in one table while the adults were in the next table.There were lesser ppl this time around, good oso la... if not it'll be too boring just talk talk serious stuff. Bro as usual was up with his goofiness.

After that we got home was too tired slept off.

Yday was just at home, last minute scrambling to do cleaning, then helped mum a bit with preparing some dishes. another aunt came over, we had a quick quiet dinner and then played some rummy and i went off to sleep.

Today's truly boring (so far)....Woke up only at about 10am... yup!! That's super duper late...As customary, Quickly put the red dates to boil, and eggs. Had that, together with nasi lemak Dad tapau.Aunt who was supposed to come between 11-12, called at 12.30 to say she'd be coming at 2.30..Walau eh........Ok lor... rot sitttttttt summore...I cudn't tahan... went for a 30minutes nap.Aunt came n then just sit around. Mom had put on the aromatherapy thingy and it was giving me headache. came online...Am gonna disappear for another nap before dinner tonight ;p
