Hmmmm but then... Was just reading the some other articles relating to the next election after Kofi Annan's term expires end this year.... it's Asia's turn for that 'coveted' post...hmmm interesting to see a change of face...

the candidate should have
__impeccable credentials;
__the broadest possible acceptability among the U.N. member nations;
__should be committed to U.N. reforms;
__and must be committed to the interests of developing countries.
